Maybe David Cohen was 10, he looked much younger in the picture I saw of him and his sister in the front of the house when I looked yesterday.
Thank you for all these wonderful pictures of a very unique snow event in the San Fernando Valley in January-February 1957. It was something I
will never forget. The picture on Ballina (actually, Ballina Canyon) in Encino was about three or four blocks from my home on Strawberry Drive.
This house might have not been our home. From the front it looks identical, but I don’t recognize the backyard. We did live in those hills however.
